Training

ARTI training is based on proven methodologies and is conducted by experienced ARTI technicians. The training is hands on and focuses on three core principles: the development of practical skills in the fabrication, use and maintenance of ARTI’s environmentally sustainable technologies, equipping participants with the proper tools and building entrepreneurship skills which gives participants the confidence to pursue income generation opportunities.

The training is open to everyone, regardless of their level of education, technical qualifications, gender, race, religious beliefs or political affiliation. The only requirement for the training is a desire to learn, but participants should be reminded that the training is hands-on and therefore you should dress appropriately and be ready to get your hands dirty as we are learning by doing.

Training is available for sustainable charcoal production (Part I: Kiln Fabrication and Part II: Pyrolyzing and Briquetting, Compact Biogas Systems. Training is designed for groups of 1-15 persons. Larger training sessions of 15+ participants are broken down into smaller groups to ensure a good teacher/student ratio.
