Nachiket W. Potnis
Potnis has worked since 1987 in various senior level management positions. In 1993 Potnis moved to Tanzania and in 2006 he co-founded ARTI-TZ after undergoing extensive training with ARTI technologies in India. Potnis has since been the driving force behind the organization and the development of ARTI Energy Limited (AEL) and Charcoal Briquettes Tanzania Limited (CBTL).
Dennis has worked in Tanzania since 2003 in the field of Poverty and Resource Management after completing an MA in Development Studies from the University of Dar es Salaam. Dennis co-founded ARTI-TZ in 2006 and has contributed significantly to the creation of ARTI Energy Limited (AEL) and Charcoal Briquettes Tanzania Limited (CBTL).
Manon joined ARTI in February 2013 and is responsible for the sustainable charcoal program. Holding a Master of Engineering in Agriculture Sciences from AgroParistech, France. Manon has worked in Tanzania since 2010 in project development and implementation in the sectors of agriculture, fishing and renewable energy. Manon has been instrumental in the implementation of EEP and NCF funded projects as well as strategic partnerships with “The Charcoal Project” and MIT D-Lab, the Jane Goodall Institute, and numerous other stakeholders.
Business Development Consultant
Nicolas brings to ARTI 15 years sales and management experience from across Europe and Africa, especially having worked extensively in senior sales management positions within Canon Europa, covering Europe, the Northern Mediterranean and Africa. Nicolas is a graduate of the IPAG, Business School, Paris, France – Diploma in Business and Management.
Ejidy joined ARTI in 2015 and has been a Member of the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA) since 2012 after completing a degree of Accounting from Moshi University College of Co-Operative and Business Studies (MUCCoBS). Ejidy worked for 5 years as an Auditor and within a Bureau de Change before joining ARTI.
Sales & Community Engagement
Jacqueline joined ARTI in 2014 and now represents ARTI for the entire Southern Highlands reaching from Morogoro to Iringa and Mbeya. She has a degree in Business Administration from the Polytechnic College in Malawi.
ARTI has an experienced team of trained technicians, lead by Kennedy Mremi, provide support and training across a range of areas from solar lights to biogas systems and charcoal kilns.
Kennedy joined ARTI Energy in 2007 is the primary fabricator of Compact Biogas Systems and Charcoal Kilns. Kennedy has conducted training for numerous stakeholders, including partner organizations, donors, new entrepreneurs and rural communities across Tanzania and East Africa. The number of individuals who can attribute their technical knowledge of renewable energy to Kennedy number in the thousands.
